Jinyoung Han
Professor Jinyoung Han became a valuable addition to Sungkyunkwan University (SKKU) in 2019, assuming leadership at the helm of the Data Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (DSAIL). The laboratory, under his guidance, is dedicated to the creation of innovative models and systems designed to address real-world challenges. Before joining SKKU, he was an Assistant Professor at Hanyang University. He was a postdoctoral researcher at the University of California, Davis, and Seoul National University. In 2013, he received his Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from Seoul National University/ Prof. Han serves as a technical program committee member for top conferences including ACM KDD, ACM WSDM, ACM TheWebConf, ACM CIKM, Interspeech, IJCAI, and AAAI. Prof. Han's research particularly emphasizes the development of healthcare-centric AI (i.e. clinical decision suppport system and mental health chatbot), but not limited to. The scope of their research extends beyond these focuses, showcasing a commitment to diverse and impactful contributions.
